Information we process
For enquiries, we process your name, email address, optional phone number, enquiry type, preferred date, optional quantity, selected gallery image title and message. Required fields are needed to accept a form submission; your phone number and quantity are optional.
Purpose and legal basis
We use this information to respond, prepare a quote and discuss your requirements. An individual’s own pre-contractual request is processed under GDPR Article 6(1)(b). Correspondence with a business representative relies on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, under Article 6(1)(f). Enquiries are not automatically used for newsletters.
Transmission and access
The form sends your message to sales@peonylux.hu. The application does not save form contents to a persistent database. Hosting and email providers may process information as necessary to deliver their services. The actual providers and any conditions for transfers outside the EU still need to be finalised for production operation.
Retention
Correspondence is kept for the period needed to respond to the enquiry and complete the related discussion. Further retention is justified only by an ongoing contractual or legal obligation or legal claim. The email deletion and backup schedule must be finalised for production; this application does not automatically delete mailbox messages.
Operation and abuse prevention
The application has no advertising or analytics tracking. The owner editor uses cookies necessary for sign-in and form protection. Resources are loaded locally. To limit excessive submissions, the server temporarily keeps IP addresses and attempt times in memory, based on the legitimate interest in protecting the service. Hosting-level technical logs depend on the deployment settings.
Your rights
Where the applicable conditions are met, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction and data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact sales@peonylux.hu to make a request. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
Complaints
You may contact us directly about data processing. You may also complain to the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information or seek a judicial remedy.
Enquiry draft storage
The enquiry draft is kept in this browser tab’s sessionStorage for up to 30 minutes so it can be restored when you change language. It is deleted after successful submission and is cleared when the tab is closed. This does not add server-side storage.
Farm journal and owner sign-in
Journal entries, photos and reviewed translations are stored as drafts until published. Only the owner can upload content; visitors cannot register or comment. Uploaded photos are re-encoded as WebP images with EXIF and location metadata removed.
The necessary peonylux_owner session cookie lasts up to 8 hours or until the browser closes. The csrftoken cookie protects forms and lasts 8 hours. To limit sign-in attempts, we store a keyed hash of the IP address and the attempt time. Records older than 15 minutes are removed on the next sign-in attempt. Hosting-level logs operate separately.
